One Lovely Blog

PLEASE NOTE, THIS POST MAY INCLUDE AFFILIATE LINKS, MEANING THAT IF YOU CLICK ON A LINK AND MAKE A PURCHASE, I'LL RECEIVE A SMALL COMMISION. THIS WILL COME AT NO COST TO YOU.

It was so nice to get a recognition from another great blogger, Ava Meena (@MyMeenaLife), who nominated me for a “One Lovely Blog Award.” Ava is a fellow travel blogger, and like me, she rises to the challenge of fighting three chronic illnesses, including Lupus. Her blog is great. You can check it out at www.mymeenalife.com

One Lovely Blog Award

The rules are:

  • Thank the person who nominated you and link back to their blog
  • List seven random things about yourself
  1.   I love animals and have a strong desire to snuggle them
  2.   My favorite band is Elbow
  3. I am a total fangirl. My fandoms include Harry Potter, Doctor Who, Sherlock, The Librarians, Studio Ghibli, Star Wars, Star Trek…to name a few…
  4. I like to Cosplay a few times a year
  5. Between the ages of 10 to 15 I trained to be a professional vocalist and was a member of a musical revue group. I still get a twitch when I hear one of the songs I had to sing 500 times
  6. I am a voracious reader of Young Adult and Middle Grade fiction
  7. Along with travel writing, I am also a staff writer for the pop culture website Biff Bam Pop
  • Nominate (up to 15) other bloggers

– Jessica A. Walsh (@Jessica_A_Walsh) Jess’s blog is one of my favorite, inspiring blogs. She  posts on staying healthy physically, mentally, and spiritually. Jess keeps me grounded, especially when I start to feel self-conscious about my appearance compared to other travel bloggers and vloggers. My hair will always frizz in humidity, my body will never be bikini worthy, and my Lupus causes me to have skin issues. Jess reminds us as women to embrace the things that make us beautiful. You can check out Jess’s blog at jessicaannwalsh.com

– Victoria Marie Lees (@VictoriaMLees) Aside from being one of the loveliest bloggers you will meet, Victoria has a love for nature and national parks, and she shares that love on her blog Camping with Five Kids. She shows how important it is to get kids outside and connected with nature, and how much they can learn from their experiences. You can check out Victoria’s blog at campingwithfivekids.

– Dawn Byrne (@DawnByrnePeace) One of the kindest bloggers I know, Dawn has a true love for the art of words and writing. Her blog is filled with humor and inspiration. You can check out Dawn’s blog at dawnbyrne.blogspot.com

  • Ladies, please don’t feel pressured to reciprocate if you don’t want to or have done so before. I just wanted to let you know that I appreciate all of the hard work that you put into your writing.
